Our ideal candidate is well-versed in today's cybersecurity threats and prevention methods and brings a strong understanding of computer networks and systems.\nThis is a vital role on our team: your work will play a direct part in preventing cyberattacks and keeping our data - and the families and associates who depend on it - safe and secure.\nKey Responsibilities\nMonitor computer systems and networks for security issues and breaches\nInvestigate and document security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents\nInstall security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructure\nTest company software, firmware, and firewalls to keep them current and secure\nHelp develop security standards and best practices for the organization\nTrain associates on network and data security procedures and best practices\nRespond to system and network security breaches\nRun diagnostic tests to identify vulnerabilities, then patch or update systems as needed\nPrepare reports documenting security audit findings and remediation strategies\nRecommend modifications in legal, technical, and regulatory areas affecting IT security\nRequirements\nProven experience as a Cybersecurity Support Technician or in a similar role\nExperience with network penetration testing techniques\nWorking knowledge of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts\nAbility to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities - and explain how to prevent them\nExperience with multi-factor authentication tools (e.g., Duo)\nExperience with Microsoft Office 365\nExperience with SentinelOne\nUnderstanding of patch management, with the ability to deploy patches in a timely manner\nCyber incident response experience\nProfessional certification in cybersecurity (such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP) is a plus\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field\n\"Digital Guru is committed to pay transparency and equal opportunity employment;
