# Cybersecurity Support Technician

In this role, you'll monitor our client's networks for security issues, install and maintain security software, and document any issues or breaches you uncover along the way. Our ideal candidate is well-versed in today's cybersecurity threats and prevention methods and brings a strong understanding of computer networks and systems. This is a vital role on our team: your work will play a direct part in preventing cyberattacks and keeping our data - and the families and associates who depend on it - safe and secure. Key Responsibilities Monitor computer systems and networks for security issues and breaches Investigate and document security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents Install security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructure Test company software, firmware, and firewalls to keep them current and secure Help develop security standards and best practices for the organization Train associates on network and data security procedures and best practices Respond to system and network security breaches Run diagnostic tests to identify vulnerabilities, then patch or update systems as needed Prepare reports documenting security audit finding
