Interact directly with Design Engineering, Program Manager and Operations Team at the target site to coordinate and execute NPDI milestones and deliverables.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nWork closely with Line of Business Leaders to ensure manufacturing plans are aligned to Product Roadmaps.\nResponsible for End of Line Testing Equipment, Parameters, scripts and Capex associated\nLead, Develop and implement manufacturing plans for assigned new products according to NPDI program\nLead and Provide direct support for plant-to-plant product transfers and new product development programs.\nSupport Vertiv manufacturing operations using standard processes, equipment, and manufacturing methods. \nIdentify, justify, pilot, and commission Advanced Manufacturing technologies, processes, equipment, and practices. Capital projects that support Growth, NPDI, Product Transfers, Technical Capacity and Footprint associated\nProvide support for manufactured cost analyses of new and existing products. \nResponsible for the execution of Manufacturing Readiness Checklist and deliverables of NPDI Process\nLeader for Manufacturing Prototype builds along with the local operation team to achieve 2 weeks LT\nAccountable and Supportive Role for Engineering Prototype builds with Design Engineering\nActively intervenes in growth strategies for assigned BU, footprint and technical capacity definition\nImplement best manufacturing practices for existing processes and provide multi-site manufacturing engineering support. \nAssist with business-critical capital projects including facility planning, layout, and cost justification.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nMinimum\nBSME/BSEE/IE/Business Operations Management and 3-5 years manufacturing experience or equivalent\nPreferred\nMSME/MSEE/IE/MBA and 5+ years of Advanced Manufacturing experience\nLean Manufacturing and Six Sigma formal training or certifications.\nRequirements:\nExtensive knowledge of formalized Advanced and Lean Manufacturing applications.\nExtensive experience in New Product Development and Product Transfers.\nExcellent vertical communication, interpersonal, and motivation skills.\nDemonstrated ability to think creatively; ability to coach, train, facilitate and lead teams effectively in a transformational work environment.\nDemonstrated strong project management and technical skills; analytical skills; PC skills.\nDemonstrated ability to achieve results through team building and teamwork.\nPHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS\nN/A\n\nTIME TRAVEL REQUIRED\n(25%)\nThe successful candidate will embrace Vertiv’s Core Principals & Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.\nOUR CORE PRINCIPALS: Safety.
