The BMS Tester coordinates testing workflows, ensures strict adherence to safety and quality standards, and collaborates closely with other commissioning departments such as electrical, mechanical, and networking teams.\nReports to Senior BMS tester supervisor.\nKey Responsibilities\nControls Testing & Pre-Commissioning\nPerform advanced testing, verification, and functional checks of:\nBMS control systems for datacenter HVAC and mechanical equipment\nEPMS (Electrical Power Monitoring Systems)\nPMS (Power Management Systems)\nField devices (sensors, actuators, controllers)\nNetworked control panels and PLCs\nCommunication protocols (BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, proprietary protocols)\nConduct pre-commissioning activities including:\nI/O verification \nControls logic validation\nAlarm and event testing\nSequence of operation validation\nTrend log verification\nInterlock and safety function testing\nExecute FATs, integration tests, and system functional verifications in accordance with engineering standards and customer requirements.\nReview, interpret, and validate engineering drawings, P&IDs, control diagrams, network schematics, and test documentation.\nTroubleshoot controls issues, support root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.\nWitness Testing & Customer Interface\nParticipate in customer witness tests for BMS, EPMS, and PMS systems.\nDemonstrate system functionality, graphics performance, alarms, trending, load sequences, and integration results.\nProvide clear, professional explanations of system behavior, testing results, and compliance evidence.\nDocumentation & Reporting\nEnsure accurate documentation of all test results, deviations, corrective actions, and pre-commissioning records.\nMaintain traceability and version control across all test artifacts.\nVerify accuracy of system graphics, naming conventions, point lists, and as-built controls documentation.\nManage test equipment inventory and ensure calibration and reliability of tools used for controls verification.\nContinuous Improvement\nProvide structured feedback to improve controls test procedures, sequences, and commissioning workflows.\nIdentify opportunities to optimize testing efficiency, automation, and documentation standardization.\nSupport implementation of best practices across BMS/EPMS/PMS testing activities.\nMentor team members by sharing expertise in controls diagnostics and integration techniques (non-supervisory
