This will be to all levels of commissioning including final set up to Vertiv and customer specification. You will be expected to work extensively with electronic programmers and various software applications along with the setting up of electrical and mechanical components, requiring strong proficiencies in these areas. Extensive Vertiv product training will be provided.\nA commitment to maintaining high commissioning standards is a must, as set out in Vertiv commissioning processes and an equally strong sense of ownership.\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS\n\nWilling to work and lodge away from home for extended periods.\nWilling to travel nationwide\nWilling to work overseas occasionally.\nAble to work long hours as and when commissioning program requires\nWilling to work weekends when commissioning program requires.\nComfortable under pressure working to tight deadlines.\nAbility to take ownership of given tasks and complete to programme.\nMust be a genuine team player. \nComplete commitment to H&S and Vertiv policies, and those applicable on site especially on construction sites\nEmbrace the need for speedy and accurate reporting and communications.\nExercise co-operation and diplomacy when working with other contractors and the customer, under time pressures.\nQUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE\nCity and Guilds 207 level 2 or higher/ equivalent.\nMinimum 5 years’ experience commissioning/servicing Thermal products\nBroad knowledge of electronic controllers\nExcellent knowledge of Data Center Thermal applications \nExcellent knowledge of refrigeration principles and controls\nTeam player is an absolute must\nFull UK driving license \nEnsure that any activity, task and responsibility required by role in terms of the International Trade Compliance Regulation is managed and performed in full compliance with the Company ITC certification program
