Vertiv is an American company that supplies the power and cooling infrastructure data centres depend on, formed in 2016 when Emerson Electric sold its network power division to Platinum Equity. Its products cover uninterruptible power supplies, switchgear and busway, precision air and liquid cooling, racks and the monitoring software that runs them, sold to hyperscale operators, colocation providers and enterprises. Headquartered in Westerville, Ohio and listed on the New York Stock Exchange, it has become one of the most direct beneficiaries of artificial intelligence build-out because dense computing requires liquid cooling it already makes.

POSITION SUMMARY

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the on-site construction process, equipment deployment, commissioning, and site service activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications, and governing all licensed trade workmanship, safety standards, budgets, and timelines. • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and manage potential risks, safety issues, and design conflicts; implement mitigation strategies promptly.
  • Establish and maintain productive working relationships with GC leadership, superintendents, project managers, MEP trades, and customer representatives.

  • Coordinate work sequencing between Vertiv resources and GC-controlled activities.

  • Ensure site resources have required access, training, safety certifications, and customer onboarding completed.
  • Support mobilization and demobilization activities.
  • Maintain accurate labor forecasts and resource plans.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
