Key Duties: Development of New Software Translate high level application requirements into Software Specifications, producing the related deliverables (documentation, Scope of Operations, test plans). Design, develop and implement PLC programs and applications that respond to given requirements. Perform prototyping, application tests and code reviews to ensure product quality. Validate the released software attending tests in Lab and in the field, reporting bugs and proposing possible improvements Deliver training and product handover to relevant stakeholders - Academy, Application Engineering and Service Software Life-Cycle Maintenance: Maintain existing software baselines, perform debugging, testing, code improvement and re-designing tasks, including the configuration management process Review hardware and components evolution and phase-in/phase out, adapting and redesigning according to the need. Collaborate with Service and Quality teams to optimize products and ensure products stay up-to-date and continue to satisfy customer needs.
