This position plays a critical role in the global organization, enabling teams to deliver high-quality controls applications while maintaining strong coordination with global Product Owners and technical leadership.\nThis position will be based onsite at Vertiv's Westerville (OH) location.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nAgile Facilitation (40%)\nScrum (NPDi): Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives; coach on story estimation and Definition of Done\nKanban (ETO): Establish boards and backlogs, enforce WIP limits, monitor lead/cycle time, optimize flow efficiency\nDrive continuous improvement through retrospectives and Agile best practices\nImpediment Removal & Team Support (25%)\nProactively identify and remove blockers; escalate organizational issues \nCoordinate cross-team dependencies and resource needs\nMaintain and propose tools, and generate metrics dashboards\nSupport onboarding and knowledge transfer between Mexico and US teams\nStakeholder Communication (20%)\nProvide sprint status updates and delivery risk reports\nCoordinate with Scrum Masters in other regions and functional areas\nSupport Product Owner in multi-team backlog management\nFacilitate demos and sprint reviews with Product Line stakeholders\nTeam Development & Coaching (15%)\nCoach teams on Agile principles, Scrum values, and Kanban practices\nFoster collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement of culture\nQUALIFICATIONS\nExperience:\n3+ years as Scrum Master/Agile Coach in software development\n5+ years total in software development, project management, or technical program management\nPreferred: Embedded systems, firmware, or controls development experience\nCertifications:\n Preferred: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II)\n Preferred: Kanban Management Professional (KMP), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)\nSkills:\nExpert facilitation and Agile coaching abilities\nStrong communication\nExperience with Agile/Scrum tools\nMetrics-driven (velocity, burndown, lead time analysis)\nComfortable with distributed teams across time zones\nPersonal Attributes:\nServant leadership mindset; puts team needs first\nEmpathy and active listening; builds trust\nResilience under pressure; maintains team morale\nCultural sensitivity in multicultural environments\nPHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS\nRequired to work in the office, hours may vary but early morning availability is preferred due to time zone difference\nTIME TRAVEL REQUIRED\n10% including international travel\nThe successful candidate will embrace Vertiv’s Core Principals & Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.\nOUR CORE PRINCIPALS: Safety.
