This role focuses on developing structured reporting, dashboards, and data solutions while continuously improving data collection, quality, and efficiency. The position collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality insights and scalable reporting capabilities.\nKey Responsibilities\nAnalyse, prepare, and present data for executive and project-level stakeholders. \nPrepare KPIs, metrics, and data for executive reports and presentations. \nCreate reports and dashboards to support engineering project management and executive reporting. \nDesign report layouts with clear executive summaries, KPIs, and graphical visualisations. \nReview existing data collection methods and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. \nDesign, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards that deliver accurate, timely, and actionable insights for Engineering leadership and executive stakeholders. \nDevelop and maintain tables, templates, trackers, and structured data models. \nImplement automation to improve data collection and reporting processes. \nEnsure data accuracy, consistency, integrity, and reporting readiness. \nIdentify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities from structured and unstructured data. \nSupport cross-functional teams with reporting, analytics, and data-driven decision-making. \nDevelop and enhance business intelligence and reporting solutions. \nApply data transformation, cleansing, validation, and standardisation techniques. \nContinuously improve reporting processes to increase speed, quality, and efficiency. \nQualifications\nMinimum 3-5+ years of experience in data management, reporting, or data analysis. \nStrong experience working with databases; relational databases preferred. \nStrong ability to summarise, interpret, and communicate data, identifying meaningful trends and insights. \nExperience preparing executive-level reports and project performance reporting. \nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications. \nExperience with Power Query, Power BI, and similar reporting and visualisation tools. \nExperience designing reports with strong data visualisation and presentation capabilities. \nProficiency in SQL; knowledge of M and DAX is desirable. \nProgramming experience (e.g., VBA or similar languages) is advantageous. \nExperience developing data models, reporting templates, trackers, and structured datasets. \nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills. \nExcellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information to technical and non-technical audiences. \nExperience working with large datasets from multiple business systems. \nAbility to work collaboratively across functions in a dynamic global environment. \nThe successful candidate will embrace Vertiv’s Core Principals & Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.\nOUR CORE PRINCIPALS: Safety.
