As part of this journey, we are seeking a Data Solution Architect who is highly hands-on and execution-focused, responsible for translating data architecture standards into working data solutions.\nThis role owns solution-level design and implementation across Snowflake, data products, APIs, and cloud integration. The Solution Architect focuses on designing, prototyping, and guiding real implementations alongside engineers and product teams.\nThis would be a very hands-on solution oriented Data Architect role.\nKey Responsibilities\nData Solution Architecture & Design\nDesign end-to-end data solutions using Snowflake for analytics, domain data products, AI use cases and insights generation\nTranslate business use cases into practical, implementable designs\nCreate solution designs across:Ingestion\nSilver → Gold -> Data Product layers\nOutput ports (views, APIs, feeds)\nConsumption patterns (Marketplace, BI, AI)\n\nSupport and design Code Red use cases requiring Data Architecture for design and implementation\nSnowflake & Data Engineering Enablement\nWork hands-on with Engineering team to:Define schemas, data models, and transformations\nDesign performant SQL and ELT patterns\nReview pipelines, queries, and data models\n\nGuide use of Snowflake capabilities (dynamic tables, streams, tasks, secure views, data sharing)\nAPI-First & Marketplace Integration\nDesign API-first access patterns for data products exposed through the Data Marketplace\nPartner with Full-Stack Engineers to ensure:Clean separation between data logic and application logic\nSecure, scalable data access\n\nDefine integration patterns between:Snowflake\nAWS services\nMarketplace backend APIs\n\nCloud & Platform Integration\nDesign data solutions that run on AWS-hosted platforms\nDefine integration patterns for:IAM / Okta / access control\nEvent-driven and batch data flows\n\nEnsure security, scalability, and operational robustness\nData Quality, Metadata & AI Readiness\nEnsure solution designs embed:Data quality checks\nMetadata and lineage\nObservability and monitoring\n\nWork with the Principal Data Architect to ensure data products are AI-ready (consistent, well-modeled, governed) and use cases are architected and designed for scalability and defined data standards\nAI-First Delivery Approach\nActively leverage AI tools to:Accelerate solution design and prototyping\nImprove code quality and documentation\nGenerate and validate SQL, APIs, and test cases\n\nEncourage AI-assisted development practices across engineering teams\nRequired Qualifications\n5-7+ years of experience in data engineering, data modeling, solution architecture, or data platform roles\nStrong hands-on expertise with Snowflake (SQL, data modeling, performance)\nExperience designing end-to-end data solutions, not just individual pipelines\nStrong understanding of:Data products and modern data architecture patterns\nCloud platforms (AWS preferred)\nAPI-first and microservices-style integration\n\nExperience working closely with engineering teams in agile delivery models\nStrong documentation and communication skills (designs, trade-offs, diagrams)\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience enabling AI / Analytics use cases on data platforms leveraging Enterprise Data\nPrior experience with Snowflake, Data Marketplaces/catalogs, or self-service analytics\nExperience in Manufacturing or Engineering domains\nSnowflake or cloud
