As a Digital Engineering Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation and coordination of BIM & Design processes across various projects. Your expertise in BIM technologies, attention to detail and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams will be essential for the effective execution of this role.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nLead the BIM coordination efforts for multiple projects, collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the accurate representation of project data within the BIM environment.\nCoordinate busbar services within multidisciplinary BIM models to identify and resolve clashes, discrepancies, and potential conflicts in design and construction.\nManage a team of BIM coordinators, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure the successful execution of BIM-related tasks.\nDevelop and implement BIM execution plans, standards, and protocols to ensure consistency and quality across projects.\nOversee the creation, maintenance, and management of BIM models, including data integration, clash detection, and coordination of design and construction information.\nCollaborate with project managers to ensure BIM deliverables align with project timelines and objectives.\nConduct regular reviews of BIM models to identify and resolve clashes, discrepancies, and potential design issues.\nConduct internal team reviews against set standards on model & drawings outputs so that they align with team standards and ready for manufacture & delivery\nWork closely with technology teams to evaluate, implement, and optimize BIM software, tools, and workflows.\nProvide training and support to project teams and stakeholders on BIM-related processes and technologies.\nStay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in BIM and related technologies.\nLiaise with clients and external partners to address BIM-related inquiries and ensure alignment with project requirements.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nProficiency in BIM software such as Revit, ACC, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.\nStrong understanding of BIM standards, protocols, and best practices.\nExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nEffective communication and interpersonal abilities.\nProject management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.\nFamiliarity with construction and design processes.\nAbility to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.\nPrevious knowledge of busbar systems will be an advantage but not a requirement as specific training on our products and BIM Libraries will be delivered as part of the role.\nThe successful candidate will embrace Vertiv’s Core Principals & Behaviours to help execute our Strategic Priorities.\nOUR CORE PRINCIPALS: Safety.
