Implementing and monitoring health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.\nThis position will be based onsite at our facility in Campsie, Northern Ireland.\nJob Description \nPromoting and engagement in good catch programme. \nEHS training records - keeping up to date and checking for renewal dates. \nMaintaining records in compliance with ISO 14001 and 45001 standards\nPreparation of monthly global safety KPI’s \nAssist in the implementation of health and safety policies and procedures in accordance with local and national safety regulations. \nActively encouraging reporting of SIF-P. \nConduct safety inspections and audits of work areas to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards. \nComplete risk assessments and document findings, providing recommendations for improvements. \nMonitor safety performance and assist in the development of reports on safety incidents, accidents, and trends. \nEnsure safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) are in good condition and readily available for employees. \nAssist in the preparation and delivery of health and safety training for employees to ensure awareness of safety procedures. \nInvestigate accidents and incidents and help prepare reports with recommendations to prevent future occurrences. Maintaining accident trend analysis.\nStay up to date with health and safety regulations, laws, and best practices to support company compliance. Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure that the company adheres to all health and safety regulations.\nAssist with the development and enforcement of emergency procedures for various scenarios. \nProvide administrative support for health and safety initiatives, including document management and data entry. \nCollaborate with department managers to promote a culture of health and safety within the organization.\nEnsure completion of First aid and fire equipment weekly and monthly checks. \nEnsure Air leaks, spill kits and hazardous waste monitoring.\nOccupational Health Surveillance - administering and planning for appointments, and records, including communication of same to HR\nCOSHH - ensuring supplier data sheets are up to date, recording information into COSHH data base, writing up information sheets and keeping records of communication of risk assessment and info sheets.\nCompliance audit checklists - receiving, logging and compiling statistics\nFLT and Equipment Pre-Use Inspections - receiving logging and following up and defects and actions.Safety Memos and other communications - sending out into the business\n\nMeasures:\nCompliance with all OHS and environmental protection requirements defined in company regulations or communicated during training.\nReporting 6 good catches annually.\n1 velocity assessment per facility weekly.\nMinimum of 2 facility audits per week.\nCompletion of monthly KPIs targets and goals. \nAdhere to measures to prevent emergency situations and operational control measures.\nReport all accident, occupational diseases and emergency situations.\nTimely completion of training, reports and records.\nQuality of training modules, risk assessments and standard operating procedures prepared.\n360 Feedback from Production supervisors, EHS Supervisors and EHS Manager.\nThe parameters of your role will fluctuate based on business needs and required skills, thus on this basis this document is subject to continual improvement. Any additional requirements to your role will be explained in advance by your Manager\nQualifications: -\nMinimum Qualifications: -\n(education, experience level, knowledge, skills, designations/certifications).\nNebosh General Certificate\nA minimum of 3+ years EHS experience in manufacturing operations or equivalent.
