The ideal candidate has strong field experience, understands NEC compliance and mechanical best practices, and thrives in fast-paced, high-standard environments. This position is customer-facing and requires excellent communication, professionalism, and safety awareness on active construction sites.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nInstall and terminate electrical systems including power distribution, switchgear, conduit, and controls in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) \nPerform mechanical and HVAC system installations supporting cooling and environmental systems within data centers \nInstall and support mechanical and HVAC systems such as CRACs, CRAHs, ducting, and piping. \nRead and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, one-lines, and P&IDs \nSupport testing, commissioning, and integration of electrical and mechanical systems \nCollaborate with project managers, engineers, and site leads to ensure installations meet design intent and customer standards \nMaintain a strong focus on site safety, adhering to all company and general contractor policies \nCommunicate effectively with customers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth field execution \nQUALIFICATIONS\n3+ years of experience in electrical and/or mechanical system installation (data center, industrial, or commercial projects preferred) \nStrong understanding of NEC requirements and construction safety standards \nFamiliarity with HVAC systems, air handling units, CRACs/CRAHs, and chilled water piping \nAbility to work from blueprints, schematics, and detailed installation drawings \nSelf-motivated and capable of working independently or within a project team \nExcellent communication and customer interaction skills \nWillingness and ability to travel up to 80% of the time \nValid driver’s license and ability to pass background and drug screening \nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS \nJourneyman Electrician or HVAC certification (or equivalent field experience) \nExperience in data center builds, commissioning, or facility operations \nOSHA 10/30 certification or equivalent site safety training \nUnderstanding of critical power infrastructure (UPS, PDUs, generators) and mechanical cooling systems \nPHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS\nMedium Lifting (30 Ibs. - 45 Ibs.)\nHeavy Lifting (over 50 Ibs.)\nFrequent Standing\nFrequent kneeling / crawling / stooping \nFrequent bending / twisting\nFrequent climbing (stairs, ladders)\nFrequent driving (car, van, truck)\nExtreme cold (below 32*)\nExtreme heat (above 100*)\nNoise Level (Medium / High need to shout to be heard)\nWorking around moving machinery (fork-lifts, tractors)\nProtective Equipment Required (earplugs, gloves, eyewear, respirator, mask, etc.)\nWork outdoors (no effective protection from weather)\nTIME TRAVEL REQUIRED\n80%\nDue to the safety sensitive aspect of the role, candidates are required to successfully pass a drug test prior to employment.
