This position is ideal for individuals who are searching for a fast-paced environment with a mix of product design and manufacturing support.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nMaintain Switchgear design within Oracle Product Lifecycle Management\nImprove Design for Manufacturability (Safety, Quality, and Efficiency)\nProvide design support for issues discovered during production\nProvide design support for supply chain issues\nSupport New Product Development and Introduction (NPDI)\nEnsure quality of ETO design before released to production\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\n1-3+ years of experience in product design\nBachelor’s degree in any relevant engineering field (Electrical Engineering preferred)\n1-3+ years of experience in 3D modeling / 2D drafting\nAbility to create and troubleshoot control wiring diagrams\nExperience in Design for Manufacturability\nExcellent communications skills - written & verbal\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite\nPHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS\nNo special physical requirements\n\nTIME TRAVEL REQUIRED\n5%\n\nThe successful candidate will embrace Vertiv’s Core Principals & Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.\nOUR CORE PRINCIPALS: Safety.
