This is a high-impact position within a rapidly growing region, with Finland under formation (projected revenue of $350M in FY2027) and Norway and Sweden experiencing significant growth. The role requires a hands-on leader who can build financial infrastructure in new entities while maintaining robust controls in established operations.\nKey Responsibilities\nFinancial Reporting & Close\nLead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process for all Nordic entities (Sweden, Finland, Norway)\nEnsure timely and accurate reporting of financial results in accordance with US GAAP and local statutory requirements (IFRS where applicable)\nPrepare and review financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses for the Nordic region\nCoordinate with the EMEA Group Controller and Corporate Consolidations team on reporting deliverables\nInternal Controls & Compliance\nMaintain and strengthen the system of internal controls in accordance with SOX requirements and Vertiv corporate policies\nEnsure compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements across all three jurisdictions\nOversee local tax compliance (corporate income tax, VAT, payroll taxes, transfer pricing) supported by local tax advisors\nAct as the primary finance contact for internal and external auditors for the Nordic entities\nEnsure adherence to Vertiv’s Chart of Accounts policies and intercompany accounting procedures\nEntity Formation & ERP Implementation\nSupport the financial setup and Oracle ERP implementation for Vertiv Finland (new entity under formation)\nEstablish financial processes, controls, and reporting frameworks for newly formed entities\nPartner with the Global EPM Implementation team on system configurations and chart of accounts setup\nEnsure proper legal entity structuring and registration compliance across Nordic jurisdictions\nBusiness Partnering\nServe as a trusted financial advisor to local business leaders in Sweden, Finland, and Norway\nProvide financial insights and analysis to support commercial decision-making\nMonitor working capital performance (accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory) and drive improvements\nSupport revenue recognition assessments for complex contracts and project-based business\nTeam Leadership & Development\nCoordinate with the GBS (Global Business Services) team, located in Cluj (Romania) on transactional accounting activities\nEnsure knowledge transfer and continuity across the Nordic finance function\nFoster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence\nQualificatations & Experience\nRequired\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field\nProfessional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, ACA, or Nordic equivalent)\nMinimum 5 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a controller or senior finance leadership role\nExperience with US GAAP reporting and SOX compliance in a multinational environment\nStrong knowledge of Nordic statutory requirements (Swedish, Finnish, and/or Norwegian GAAP)\nHands-on experience with Oracle ERP (EBS or Fusion Cloud) \nFluency in English; proficiency in Swedish, Finnish, or Norwegian is a strong advantage\nPreferred\nExperience in the technology, industrial, or critical infrastructure sector\nTrack record of supporting entity formations or greenfield operations\nExperience managing relationships with external tax advisors and auditors across multiple jurisdictions\nFamiliarity with ARCs or similar account reconciliation platforms\nMaster’s degree in Finance, MBA, or equivalent\nKey Competencies\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly\nAbility to operate
