The role combines financial analytics, BI reporting, data engineering concepts, process automation and practical AI/LLM usage. You will partner with Finance stakeholders to build scalable reporting, improve data quality, reduce manual work and accelerate insight generation across the organisation.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nBuild and maintain finance dashboards, KPIs and standardized reporting in Power BI, applying strong DAX and visualization practices.\nAggregate, interpret and summarize financial statistics; translate business questions into clear, decision-ready reporting and insights.\nDevelop and optimize SQL queries and data transformations; work with large datasets across source systems, databases and reporting platforms.\nAutomate recurring reporting and data workflows using Python, Power Automate and other RPA/automation tools, reducing manual effort and cycle time.\nContribute to governed data products and reusable datasets/models, with clear documentation, controls, validation routines and data-quality checks.\nSupport finance data movement and analytics workflows across on-premises environments and cloud platforms; collaborate on integrations and performance improvements.\nUse LLMs responsibly for productivity and analytics tasks, including prompt engineering and review/correction of AI-generated reports and outputs.\nPartner with Finance and technical stakeholders to understand requirements, communicate trade-offs and deliver scalable solutions; document processes and standard operating procedures.\nSupport exploratory AI/ML use cases such as anomaly detection, forecasting and intelligent automation as the Finance Data & AI Analytics capability matures.\nQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE\nCORE REQUIREMENTS\nBachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.\n3+ years of experience in data analytics, BI, process automation, financial systems or related disciplines.\nStrong working knowledge of Power BI and DAX; experience publishing reports and automating workflows.\nPractical SQL skills and experience handling, transforming and validating large datasets.\nDemonstrated experience with Python and automation/RPA tools for repeatable analytics or reporting processes.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving and process-improvement skills with high attention to detail and data quality.\nPREFERRED / VALUE-ADD\nExperience with Snowflake and/or Oracle; familiarity with cloud data platforms and serverless services (AWS a plus).\nExperience with HFM, Oracle EPM, OneStream, ERP data or FP&A / financial reporting processes.\nExperience with Grafana, Tableau or Google Analytics in addition to Power BI.\nBasic knowledge of Linux CLI, virtual machines, OAuth and authentication/authorization concepts.\nBasic ability to interact with LLMs, prompt engineering, and critical review of AI-generated analysis.\nGeneral knowledge of financial metrics; manufacturing-sector finance knowledge is a plus.\nExcellent communication skills and willingness to expand into adjacent data, cloud and IT domains.\nThe successful candidate will embrace Vertiv’s Core Principals & Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.\nOUR CORE PRINCIPALS: Safety, Integrity, Respect, Teamwork, Diversity & Inclusion.\nOUR STRATEGIC PRIORITIES\nCustomer Focus \nOperational Excellence \nHigh-Performance Culture \nInnovation \nFinancial Strength\nOUR BEHAVIORS\nOwn It \nAct With Urgency \nFoster a Customer-First Mindset \nThink Big and Execute \nLead by Example \nDrive Continuous Improvement \nLearn and Seek Out Development\nAt Vertiv, we offer the stability of a global leader in a growing industry and the opportunity of a startup.
