planning, production system evolution, and manufacturing strategy development.\nKey Responsibilities\nManufacturing Strategy & Factory Planning\nDefine and support long-term manufacturing strategies that align STL manufacturing capabilities with future business objectives.\nDevelop factory planning, production system, and capacity expansion roadmaps supporting future growth.\nEvaluate future-state manufacturing concepts, technologies, and operational models.\nSupport major manufacturing investment decisions through capacity, throughput, and operational analysis.\nEstablish manufacturing system standards, principles, and best practices that can be scaled across future operations.\nProduction System Development\nSupport development and continuous improvement of STL manufacturing system architecture.\nDefine production flow, material movement, work-in-process, storage, and material handling strategies.\nDevelop capacity models and production scenarios to support business growth planning.\nPartner with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturing system requirements are incorporated into facility, equipment, automation, and process planning activities.\nIdentify opportunities to improve productivity, scalability, flexibility, and operational performance.\nManufacturing Readiness & Industrialization\nSupport manufacturing readiness initiatives for new products, technologies, and production capabilities.\nLead planning activities supporting factory startup, commissioning, and production ramp efforts.\nDevelop industrialization strategies for future manufacturing processes and production technologies.\nSupport manufacturing transfer, production launch, and expansion activities.\nEnsure manufacturing requirements are incorporated early in product and process development efforts.\nCross-Functional Leadership\nCollaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Facilities, Supply Chain, Automation, and AME teams on strategic manufacturing initiatives.\nCommunicate manufacturing strategies, risks, opportunities, and recommendations to plant, business, and executive leadership.\nLead initiatives requiring coordination across multiple functions, disciplines, and stakeholders.\nSupport development of long-term manufacturing roadmaps aligned with business growth objectives.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Engineering, or a related technical field.\nMinimum 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, advanced manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, factory planning, industrialization, or related disciplines.\nDemonstrated experience supporting manufacturing system development, production launches, capacity growth initiatives, or factory expansion activities.\nExperience with facility layout planning, material flow design, capacity planning, or production system optimization.\nKnowledge of manufacturing readiness, industrialization, new product introduction (NPI), and production ramp methodologies.\nStrong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, and continuous improvement principles.\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and project execution skills.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management abilities.\nAbility to lead and influence cross-functional teams in a complex manufacturing environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting greenfield manufacturing facilities, factory startups, or major production expansions.\nExperience developing manufacturing roadmaps, business growth scenarios, or long-range capacity plans.\nFamiliarity with facility layout, process modeling, manufacturing simulation, or production system analysis tools.\nKnowledge of automation technologies, capital equipment implementation, and advanced manufacturing concepts.\nExperience within a global manufacturing organization.\nWorking knowledge of ERP and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).\nLean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, PMP, or equivalent professional
