Reports to the VP of Power Solutions and Distribution.\nBusiness Unit Summary\nThe Power Solutions & Distribution Product Line within the Power Management Business Unit is responsible for managing the global portfolio of product and distribution offerings to best serve the customers in the critical infrastructure market. Key activities include launching new products and services, managing the existing portfolio of products and services, and executing end of production and service. The team operates in a global and cross-functional environment and has frequent interactions with customers, sales, engineering, marketing, and operations.\nResponsibilities:\nEngineering Leadership & ExecutionOwn the engineering execution of new product development and introduction (NPDI) programs from concept through production release, ensuring on-time delivery to cost, quality, and performance targets\nDrive cross-discipline trade-off decisions and technical problem resolution across complex power systems\nChampion continuous improvement initiatives, best practices, and DMAIC methodologies, including Pugh analysis, Design of Experiment, design and application FMEA, process capability study and root cause analysis\nManage engineering budgets, resource allocation, and capacity planning to support development programs\n\nStrategy & InnovationPartner with product management to inform technology roadmaps and influence product strategy based on engineering capabilities, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape\nIdentify and drive investment in engineering tools, methods, and technologies that improve development efficiency, product quality, and time-to-market\nBuild and maintain a strong intellectual property position through disciplined innovation practices\n\nTalent & Organization DevelopmentAttract, develop, and retain top engineering talent across all disciplines and geographies\nFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement\nBuild organizational processes, governance, and cultural connection required to operate engineering hubs as an integrated global engineering team\n\nCross-Functional PartnershipCollaborate with operations, supply chain, quality, and manufacturing engineering to ensure seamless design-to-production transitions\nPartner with product management and sales to support customer technical engagements as needed\nInterface with regulatory and certification bodies to ensure product compliance across global markets\n\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical degree;
