This position requires a strong blend of technical expertise, analytical thinking, data storytelling, and stakeholder management.\nKey Responsibilities\nReporting & Dashboard Development\nDesign, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasets.\nDesign, develop, and maintain AWS QuickSight dashboards, analyses, and datasets, leveraging the SPICE engine for high-performance analytics.\nBuild interactive Streamlit applications to support advanced analytics and data-driven workflows.\nTranslate business requirements into intuitive, visually compelling, and accurate reporting solutions.\nOptimize report performance, data models, measures, and queries for scalability and speed.\nData Modeling & Integration\nDevelop efficient data models using best practices for semantic layers.\nLeverage mandatory strong SQL expertise to write complex queries, optimize performance, and ensure data accuracy across all integration layers.\nIntegrate data from multiple sources (databases, APIs, Snowflake, AWS data services, etc.).\nCollaborate with Data Engineering teams to define and refine data structures enabling analytical consumption across both platforms.\nBusiness Partnership\nPartner with business users to understand needs, gather requirements, and translate them into technical solutions.\nProvide training, guidance, and best practices for self-service reporting .\nPresent insights and analytical findings in clear, actionable terms to non-technical stakeholders.\nSupport the organisation's transition from traditional BI to AI-augmented analytics, identifying use cases where AI can enhance decision-making.\nGovernance, Quality & Standards\nEnsure adherence to data visualization standards, governance policies, and security protocols across environments.\nImplement version control, documentation, and lifecycle management for analytical assets.\nProactively identify data issues and drive remediation initiatives with cross-functional teams.\nInnovation & Continuous Improvement\nEvaluate and introduce new features in Power BI (Fabric, DAX advancements, etc.) and AWS QuickSight (ML Insights, QuickSight Q, Generative BI capabilities).\nIdentify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes and leverage AI/ML for predictive and prescriptive analytics.\nDrive adoption of modern, scalable analytics patterns, supporting the company's PowerBI-to-AI transformation journey.\nExplore and implement generative AI capabilities within AWS QuickSight to enable natural language querying and automated insight generation for business users.\nRequired Qualifications\n5+ years of experience in BI/report development, with proven expertise in Power BI.\nHands-on experience with AWS QuickSight, including dashboard creation, dataset management, SPICE optimization, and analyses.\nStrong hands-on experience with Streamlit for building interactive Python-based applications.\nExpert-level knowledge of DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and visualization best practices.\nStrong SQL knowledge is mandatory - the candidate must demonstrate expert-level proficiency in writing complex queries, performance tuning, and working with enterprise data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake).\nSolid understanding of data governance, security, and report lifecycle management.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.\nExcellent communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities.\nFamiliarity with cloud-based BI and AI/ML analytics platforms.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Python for data manipulation and integration with Streamlit.\nKnowledge of Microsoft Fabric ecosystems.\nAWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner).\nExperience with AWS QuickSight Q (natural language querying) and ML Insights for automated anomaly detection and forecasting.\nExperience with generative AI tools and their application in business analytics.\nExperience working in agile environments and using CI/CD tools for BI assets.\nBackground in enterprise reporting for Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial, or
