The IT Project Manager will lead and deliver complex technology initiatives focused on transforming IT and business through process efficiencies, data and AI. They will manage successful completion of projects and programs, ensuring that key objectives are achieved on time and on budget. This role requires strong leadership skills to navigate cross-functional teams, and communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills to drive accountability at all levels.\nThis position will be based onsite at Vertiv's Westerville, OH - HQ location.\nResponsibilities:\nLead end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional, global IT projects from initiation through delivery\nAccountable for planning and execution tasks, including, but not limited to, scope, scheduling, budgeting, resource, risk and issue management.\nDevelop and maintain detailed project plans, clear effective status reports, RAID logs, and executive dashboards\nFacilitate project governance, steering committee reviews, and stakeholder communications\nPartner with business and IT leaders to align project objectives with organizational strategy\nDrive cross-functional collaboration across infrastructure, applications, security, and business teams\nIdentify, escalate, and resolve project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively\nProactively engages stakeholders, providing timely, relevant, and transparent project status. \nProduce executive-level program updates as necessary. \nEnsure adherence to IT governance frameworks, change management processes, and compliance requirements\nContribute to PMO best practices and continuous improvement\nSupport portfolio-level reporting and resource capacity planning\nRequirements:\n7-10+ years of progressive IT project and/or program management experience\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field\nDemonstrated experience managing large-scale, complex IT projects (e.g. digital transformation, software development, system implementation, ERP, cloud, enterprise applications)\nStrong proficiency in project management methodologies: Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches\nExperience with project management tools (e.g., ServiceNow SPM, Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent)\nProven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities\nExcellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills - written and verbal\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail\nExperience managing multimillion dollar project budgets\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.\nHighly motivated self-starter who can initiate action and follow through with well-defined solutions and action plans. \nPreferred Requirements:\nPMP certification (Project Management Professional), Agile certifications (CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP)\nFamiliarity with ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) or similar enterprise PPM platforms\nExperience in global or matrixed organizations\nBackground in ERP, cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, or digital transformation programs\nStrong knowledge of Software Development Lifecyle process. \nExcellent presentation skills; can adjust presentation to the audience level. Comfortable presenting to small and large groups at all levels of the organization. \nExceptional interpersonal skills.
