performance.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nReliability Engineering\nDevelop and implement reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) programs for critical manufacturing equipment\nConduct root cause failure analysis (RCFA) on recurring equipment failures and implement corrective actions\nPerform failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) to identify and mitigate potential failure risks\nAnalyze equipment performance data (MTBF, MTTR, OEE) to identify trends and improvement opportunities\nEstablish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for equipment reliability and maintenance effectiveness\nSystems Engineering & Integration\nDesign, implement, and maintain integrated manufacturing systems including PLC/HMI, SCADA, and machine controls\nArchitect and optimize data acquisition systems that connect equipment sensors, controllers, and analytics platforms\nDevelop and manage the CMMS (MaintainX) environment including system configuration, workflow automation, API integrations, and reporting architecture\nLead IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) initiatives to enable real-time equipment monitoring and condition-based alerting\nIntegrate maintenance and production systems (CMMS, MES, ERP) to ensure seamless data flow and operational visibility\nEvaluate, select, and deploy new technologies and platforms that advance maintenance and reliability capabilities\nManage industrial network infrastructure supporting equipment communication and data collection\nPreventive & Predictive Maintenance\nDesign and optimize preventive maintenance (PM) schedules based on equipment criticality and failure data\nImplement and manage predictive maintenance (PdM) technologies (vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, ultrasound)\nDevelop condition-based monitoring strategies leveraging sensor data and analytics to transition from reactive to proactive maintenance\nBuild automated alerting and escalation systems based on real-time equipment health data\nContinuously refine PM task lists, frequencies, and procedures based on reliability data and system feedback\nMaintenance Planning & Optimization\nPartner with maintenance supervisors and technicians to improve work order planning and execution\nDevelop dashboards, reports, and analytics tools to provide actionable insights on asset health and maintenance performance\nDevelop and maintain equipment Bill of Materials (BOM) and critical spare parts inventory strategies\nSupport capital project planning for equipment upgrades, replacements, and new installations\nCreate and maintain technical documentation for system architectures, integrations, and standard operating procedures\nContinuous Improvement\nLead or participate in cross-functional teams to improve equipment reliability, system performance, and reduce downtime\nApply Lean, Six Sigma, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodologies\nIdentify opportunities for automation and digital transformation within maintenance operations\nDevelop and deliver training programs for maintenance technicians on reliability best practices and system usage\nBenchmark internal and external best practices to drive world-class maintenance and systems performance\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field\n3-5 years of experience in maintenance/reliability engineering, systems engineering, or manufacturing engineering in an industrial/manufacturing environment\nStrong knowledge of reliability principles including RCM, FMEA, RCFA, and Weibull analysis\nExperience designing or administering industrial systems (PLC, HMI, SCADA, sensor networks)\nProficiency with CMMS platforms (MaintainX preferred) including configuration, API usage, and workflow automation\nStrong data analysis skills including statistical methods, database querying, and dashboard development\nWorking knowledge of industrial networking, communication protocols (OPC-UA, Modbus, Ethernet/IP), and IT/OT convergence\nFamiliarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards\nCertified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) or Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE)\nINCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) or equivalent\nExperience with predictive maintenance technologies (vibration, thermography, ultrasound)\nProficiency in scripting or programming languages (Python, SQL, VBA) for data analysis and system automation\nExperience with IIoT platforms, edge computing, and cloud-based analytics\nLean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification\nExperience with CNC punch presses, laser cutting systems, and press brake equipment\nKnowledge of TPM and OEE improvement
