The supervisor integrates the functions of production control, workforce planning, materials transactions, supervision of the workforce and trouble-shooting production issues. The supervisor will drive performance in both manufacturing and 1st pass yield to satisfy customer demand. Daily report outs will be required between the 1st shift supervisor and the 2nd shift supervisor.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nMaintain positive, progressive, and productive attitude toward plant targets and objectives regarding reliability, accountability, safety, integrity, quality, and productivity as a unified goal.\nOversee the set-up and operation of assigned team/shift based.\nMake informed and intelligent decisions and improvise in the absence of instruction (lead a team independently after normal business hours have ended).\nEnsure standard work, policies, and procedures are followed on the shift.\nProvide troubleshooting assistance to maintenance and determine the cause of performance gaps using collaborative data knowledge and creative problem-solving skills.\nDocument/report all production and quality requirements and any performance gaps.\nMaintain inventory control and transactions across manufacturing.\nEnsure team is punctual and productive.\nLeadership Responsibilities\nEnsure your team is compliant with all organization safety and performance policies.\nThe successful candidate will embrace Vertiv’s Core Principals & Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.\nOUR CORE PRINCIPALS: Safety.
