He/She will be focused on Direct Expansion products for Data Center cooling. He/She will play a crucial role in the design of mechanical components and systems for our innovative products. He/She will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and performance specifications in compliance with industry regulations.\nWhat kind of work will you be doing?\nWork in a multi-disciplinary engineering team on Direct Expansion cooling units for Data Center, focusing on high-performance, cost-effective design and market leading innovation.\nDesign new products or re-engineer existing ones, with a focus on the mechanical aspects and 3D drawings (mainly sheet metal structures, pipelines), collaborating with suppliers, Procurement and Industrial Engineering, being aware of the necessary product marketing inputs. \nCreate and review product documentation (3D and 2D drawings, bill of materials, specifications, customer’s submittals). \nSupport product production transfer from and to other locations, interface with main center of expertise.\nMeet cost, quality, environmental, and execution time objectives, achieving the best trade-off between market requirements and internal customer needs.\nAnalyze and resolve technical issues related to the products under their responsibility.\nAbility to communicate effectively across all regions to enhance global designs.\nWhat will make you successful?\nTechnical Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.\nMinimum 3+ years of experience as a Mechanical Designer, preferably in the HVAC industry. \nStrong understanding of mechanical design principles and practices.\nExcellent knowledge of 3D CAD & PLM systems, particularly PTC Creo, Solid Edge and Microsoft Office applications.\nKnow-how of HVAC products.\nEnglish -Good level - Written and spoken.\nCompetence: result-oriented, team player, detail-oriented, flexible, with a strong attitude toward teamwork.\nStrong communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.\nInitiative: ability to work independently and a strong willingness to take on new challenges.\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills. \nTime Travel required:\n10-20%\nIf YOU are the person we are looking for, feel free to apply and let's start drafting your future career in a healthy and growing environment!\nThe successful candidate will embrace Vertiv’s Core Principals & Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.\nOUR CORE PRINCIPALS: Safety.
