Participate in New Product Development Service Readiness and perform Change Originator/Analyst duties.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nSupport the launch of Project Dominion via part setup in ERP.\nSupport with the design of Service Upgrade kits and component substitutes. \nCreate drawings for upgrade kits. Including installation and packaging instructions. \nCreate bill of materials (BOM) required for new upgrade kits. \nPerform component obsolescence studies to identify alternate components and provide direction to cross-functional teams.\nCreate or revise product documentation in CAD, Solid Edge, Agile EC, and Oracle PLM systems.\nWork with Production and Field associates to provide direction when needed.\nReview and approve Engineering changes in Oracle PD Cloud.\nInitiate Engineering Change Requests.\nProvide training and escalated support to technical support team members during the release of upgrade kits. \nSupport New Product Development for service readiness and participate in projects as necessary.\nDaily interaction with Technical and internal/external Field Support teams.\nInteraction with outside vendors and suppliers as needed to obtain quotes and other required information.\nDevelop, maintain, and continuously improve various internal standard operating procedures. \nDaily interaction with cross functional teams for diagnosing problems like product concerns.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nMinimum Qualifications: (education, experience level, knowledge, skills, certifications).\nBachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or directly related degree.\nAssociates in Mechanical Engineering Technology with 4 years’ experience considered. \nMust have good planning, organizing, documentation, and communication skills.
