The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, working with various hand and power tools, operating forklifts to move large material, and using overhead cranes within a manufacturing or assembly environment.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nMaintain a positive, solutions-focused, and productive attitude in support of plant goals for reliability, safety, integrity, quality, and overall performance.\nRead and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to assemble mechanical components using hand tools, torque wrenches, and other equipment.\nUtilize forklifts, overhead cranes, and material handling equipment to transport components within the facility.\nPerform mechanical troubleshooting to identify and address issues during assembly and ensure proper documentation of corrective actions.\nCollaborate with team members to solve production challenges and meet daily targets.\nAssist with basic maintenance tasks and support engineering or electrical teams when needed.\nMaintain accurate production records, including parts assembled and quantities completed.\nComplete other duties as assigned.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment\nPrior experience using hand tools and operating forklifts\nStrong understanding of mechanical systems and safe work practices\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAssociate’s Degree or Technical Certification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field\nDemonstrated experience or prior certification in operating overhead cranes\nFamiliarity with mechanical fitting in a manufacturing or industrial environment\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nAbility to routinely lift 50+ lbs and transport objects as needed\nAbility to climb ladders\nAbility to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including bending, twisting, squatting, and climbing\nManual dexterity to operate hand tools and mechanical equipment\nENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS\nAbility to work in indoor and outdoor environments where temperatures may exceed 100°F or fall below 32°F, including exposure to environmental elements\nTRAVEL TIME
