Strong attention to detail, product knowledge, and customer service skills are essential for success in this role.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nProvide excellent customer service through counter sales and customer inquiries, as well as assisting with parts identification and availability.\nUpsell complementary, upgraded, or preventative maintenance items. Promote additional products to increase sales and customer satisfaction. \nReceive, inspect, and accurately stock incoming parts and materials. \nMaintain organized warehouse layout to ensure efficient storage and retrieval. \nMonitor inventory levels and assist with cycle counts and reordering. \nPick, pack, and prepare parts for internal and external orders. \nCoordinate timely distribution of parts to technicians and customers. \nProcess orders, returns, and exchanges in accordance with company procedures. \nEnsure accuracy of inventory records and update systems as needed. \nCommunicate with vendors and suppliers regarding orders and shipments.\nMaintain a clean, safe, and compliant warehouse environment. \nSupport team operations and assist with other duties as assigned.\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required \n1+ years of experience in parts coordination, warehouse operations, inventory control, or related field. \nBasic computer skills (Microsoft Office)\nAbility to lift, move, and organize parts and materials (often up to 50 lbs.) \nSolid organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy \nEffective communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers, vendors, and team members \nBasic math skills for order processing, inventory counts, and transactions \nAbility to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment \nProblem-solving skills with the ability to identify customer needs and recommend solutions \nDependable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team \nForklift certification or willingness to obtain\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nTechnical or trade education\nPrevious customer service or sales experience, with a focus on upselling or cross-selling \nHVAC knowledge\nExperience with Oracle systems\nPHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS\nOffice and warehouse environment.
