Your voice matters, your growth is prioritized, and your success is celebrated. \nPosition Summary\nThe Procurement Systems & Analytics Specialist will be a strategic partner to the Americas Procurement team, driving digital transformation through the development and deployment of AI-powered tools and automation solutions. This role will focus on enhancing procurement agility, data-driven decision-making, and operational efficiency by leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning, and intelligent automation.\nThe ideal candidate will be a hands-on innovator with strong coding and AI expertise, capable of translating complex procurement challenges into scalable digital solutions. This role requires cross-functional collaboration, independent initiative, and a deep understanding of procurement systems and data.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and implement AI-powered analytics tools to optimize procurement insights.\nDevelop machine learning models to identify trends, predict risks, and support strategic sourcing.\nAutomate routine procurement tasks (e.g., spend analysis, vendor performance tracking) to reduce manual effort and errors.\nEnsure data integrity, accuracy, and security in AI models and analytics platforms.\nLead the development and enhancement of digital tools and processes across procurement systems.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for digital innovation.\nIntegrate data from multiple sources (Oracle EBS, Power BI, SharePoint, etc.) for unified reporting and analysis.\nPerform advanced data analysis to support KPI tracking, cost optimization, and risk mitigation.\nCreate dashboards and reports that provide real-time insights and predictive analytics.\nScope, define, and implement digital projects aligned with procurement priorities.\nFacilitate stakeholder engagement and ensure adoption of new tools and processes.\nDevelop training materials, user guides, and testing scenarios to support solution rollout.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or related field.\nMinimum 4 years of experience in analytics, digital transformation, or AI development.\nProven experience in developing and deploying machine learning models.\nCoding proficiency in Python, R, SQL, or other relevant languages.\nAdvanced proficiency in Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint.\nExperience with Oracle EBS or similar ERP systems is a plus.\nStrong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.\nPreferred Skills & Attributes\nFamiliarity with procurement processes and KPIs.\nExperience with cloud-based AI platforms (e.g., Azure ML, AWS SageMaker).\nKnowledge of natural language processing (NLP) and generative AI applications.\nAgile project management experience.\nPassion for innovation and continuous improvement.\nWork Environment & Travel\nPrimarily office-based; may be sedentary for extended periods.\nNo travel required.\nThe successful candidate will embrace Vertiv’s Core Principals & Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.\nOUR CORE PRINCIPALS: Safety.
