The position supports Product Compliance activities within the CW Product Line (PL), while collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Product Management, regional stakeholders, test laboratories, and external conformity assessment bodies.\nWhat kind of work will you be doing?\nScope\nLead and support EMEA product compliance activities for the Chilled Water business, including NPDI and sustaining projects\nAct as the regional reference for EU product safety, CE marking, and EMEA regulatory requirements\nHelp ensure that compliance documentation and approvals remain current and that project deliverables are completed on time\nCoordinate and maintain product compliance documentation for EU and EMEA requirements, aligned with global CW Product Line processes\nSupport conformity assessment planning, testing, technical documentation, and product release readiness with R&D, Engineering, Product Management, and Quality teams\nTranslate applicable EU regulations and EN/IEC standards into practical guidance for product and R&D engineers\nMonitor relevant regulatory and standards updates and prepare concise summaries of possible product or process impacts\nKey Responsibilities\nOversee EU and EMEA product compliance activities throughout the product lifecycle, from development through sustaining activities\nSupport and guide R&D engineers on compliance tasks and deliverables\nAssist R&D and product engineers by interpreting regulatory requirements and translating them into practical design and testing inputs\nSupport CE marking and product release readiness by confirming that required compliance evidence, technical documentation, testing, and conformity assessment activities are complete\nDevelop, review, and standardize relevant test plans, test reports, technical files, and compliance documents\nCoordinate activities with test laboratories, Notified Bodies, and other external conformity assessment bodies when required\nMaintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders\nUse relevant information, experience, and professional judgment to assess compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards\nWhat will make you successful?\nDegree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a directly related Engineering discipline, or equivalent work experience\nBasic knowledge of EU product safety and CE marking requirements, including applicable EU legislation and EN/IEC standards\nUnderstanding of technical files, risk assessments, EU Declarations of Conformity, harmonised standards, and the role of Notified Bodies\nAbility to oversee regional product compliance activities and support applicable conformity assessment processes\nBasic working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and thermal systems preferred\nStrong planning, organization, documentation, and communication skills\nExperience in Compliance Engineering and in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test reports\nAbility to work independently and as part of cross-functional global development teams in a fast-paced environment\nIf YOU are the person we are looking for, feel free to apply and let's start drafting your future career in a healthy and growing environment!\nThe successful candidate will embrace Vertiv’s Core Principals & Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.\nOUR CORE PRINCIPALS: Safety.
