The role carries execution ownership on major capital programs, supports the Advanced Manufacturing function, governs 8D problem solving for EMEA Operations, and applies AI-assisted ways of working to raise the speed, accuracy, and traceability of project delivery.\nKey Responsibilities:\nManage assigned Operations projects end to end using PMBOK-aligned practice: charter, scope and WBS, schedule and cost baseline, RAID log, change control, stage gates, and formal closure with lessons learned\nLead delivery workstreams within major capital programs, coordinating engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, quality, and external partners against one agreed baseline\nSupport the Advanced Manufacturing function on industrialisation, equipment, and process deployment projects - readiness, milestone control, dependency management, and timely risk escalation\nOwn and run 8D governance for EMEA Operations: cadence, rigour of each 8D step, quality of containment, root cause and corrective actions, closure criteria, and yokoten of lessons learned across sites\nMaintain audit-ready project documentation as a primary control, decision logs, minutes with owners and due dates, baseline revision history, gate packs, and archived evidence\nPrepare and deliver status reporting and escalation for EMEA Operations Leadership - plan versus actual, critical path, risk exposure, and mitigation - with the supporting data behind every statement\nApply available AI tools to project documentation, analysis, reporting, and recurring PMO tasks, and build reusable templates and prompts the wider team can adopt\nDrive alignment across plants, regional and central functions, actively surfacing dependencies, unblocking issues, and closing gaps before they become escalations\nJob Requirements:\nUniversity degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field\nMinimum 5 years of project management experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, with full ownership of scope, schedule, cost, and risk\nPMP certification, or demonstrable PMBOK-aligned practice at PMP standard\nProven documentation discipline - candidates should be prepared to walk through their own project artefacts (charter, schedule baseline, risk register, change log, gate pack, closure report)\nHands-on experience in Operational Excellence or Continuous Improvement, with practical command of structured problem solving (8D, DMAIC, 5-Why, Ishikawa) and core quality tools\nDaily, practical use of AI tools on real work output, with the judgement to know where AI adds value and where it does not\nStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with project and reporting tools (MS Project or similar, Smartsheet, Power BI, Excel)\nFluent in English\nWillingness to travel across EMEA sites as project needs require (5%)\nPreferred Competences:\nLean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or above) with delivered, finance-validated benefits\nExperience in capital projects, industrialization, or new line and plant deployment\nAbility to work seamlessly across functions with differing objectives, and to influence without formal authority\nProactive, self-starting operating style - identifies what needs doing and moves, rather than waiting for direction\nMission-driven ownership: takes personal accountability for the outcome, not only for the activity\nHigh level of discipline, precision, and follow-through across parallel workloads\nComfortable in a governance- and cadence-driven environment (MOR/MBR/QBR, stage gates, action tracking)\nDigital curiosity and interest in automation, digitization, and AI-enabled ways of working\nGlobal and cultural awareness\n Employee perks, benefitsWorking in a professional and international team.\nAnnual Minimum Wage Increase.\nChristmas bonus 100% of the basic salary.\nWorking leave for regeneration with wage compensation - 10 days.\nFood allowance in excess of the law.\nFlexible working hours.\n7.5 hours of working time.\nReferral bonus.\nOther benefits within the social program (contributions for blood donations, contributions for work and life anniversaries).\nThe anticipated salary range for this role Slovakia is between 33 739€ to 42 174€ gross per and reflects the range applicable in that jurisdiction.
