This role is responsible for designing and executing effective communication strategies that support organizational change initiatives, ensuring that stakeholders are informed, prepared, and engaged throughout the change lifecycle.\nAs part of the BRM and OCM function, this role partners closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and leadership to deliver clear, consistent, and impactful messaging aligned with business goals and Vertiv standards. The role contributes directly to successful adoption outcomes, measured through communication effectiveness, user readiness, and feedback mechanisms, and serves as the single point of accountability for OCM communications execution across assigned initiatives. This role supports the BRM Sr. Manager, OCM & Deployments, by leading communications workstreams across key projects/programs.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nOCM Communications & Engagement\nExecute OCM communication plans aligned to project objectives, timelines, and stakeholder needs \nEstablish and manage communication cadence aligned with deployment milestones and leadership expectations \nManage communications intake and tracking (e.g., request forms, comms tracker), ensuring compliance with OCM governance and alignment to deployment milestones \nCreate and manage multi-channel communications, including: \nEmail campaigns and broadcast messaging \nNewsletters and updates \nSharePoint and Microsoft Teams content \nLeadership presentations \nProduce high-quality communication materials such as: \nEnd-user communications and FAQs \nAdoption and readiness messaging \nStakeholder updates and reports \nStakeholder Collaboration\nPartner with BRMs, project managers, SMEs, and leadership to: \nGather communication requirements \nValidate messaging and key decisions \nEnsure alignment across initiatives \nAct as a communications advisor, recommending messaging approaches, timing, and channels based on change impact \nMonitor and manage inbound deployment communications (e.g., shared mailbox), triage questions/issues, and coordinate timely follow-ups with project teams (PMs/CMs/SMEs) \nSupport stakeholder engagement activities and feedback loops \nDigital Platforms & Collaboration\nOwn and maintain SharePoint and Microsoft Teams sites as centralized communication hubs \nDefine and maintain content structure, navigation, and archival standards \nSupport SharePoint governance activities, including permissions management, to ensure secure and consistent collaboration aligned with organizational standards \nEnsure content is organized, accessible, and up to date \nPromote collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams \nAdoption & Readiness Support\nSupport OCM activities including: \nAudience analysis and stakeholder mapping \nUser readiness communications \nReinforcement messaging post-deployment \nSupport readiness checkpoints and go live communications aligned with OCM governance and deployment criteria \nPartner with change/training leads to update or create end-user enablement materials (job aids, training updates, FAQs) aligned to communications and release changes \nTrack and report on communication effectiveness and adoption metrics \nContinuous Improvement\nGather feedback and insights to improve communication strategies \nApply best practices and lessons learned from prior deployments \nSupport innovation in communication approaches and tools \nQUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). \n2+ years of industry experience in Information Technology with a focus on OCM / Deployment Practice. \nPreferred Experience\nExperience in a global organization \nFamiliarity with OCM methodologies \nExperience working with cross functional and remote teams \nExperience supporting phased or wave based global deployments \nAbility to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously is required \nExperience supporting IT projects, system deployments, or digital transformation initiatives.\nThe successful candidate will embrace Vertiv’s Core Principals & Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.\nOUR CORE PRINCIPLES: Safety.
