This position supports projects at all stages to ensure quality in accordance with standards and customer requirements, including development and maintenance of project-specific Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) and associated quality controls, ensuring project quality requirements are translated into executable inspection, verification, and acceptance activities throughout the project lifecycle. Supports and drives multiple quality improvement projects across various departmental areas, driving corrective actions to address product and process issues, using advanced quality processes, methods and tools.\nWhat kind of work will you be doing?\nActively support the Project Quality Manager and project team throughout all project phases, from purchase order (PO), design, assembly, factory testing, installation, commissioning, customer acceptance, and handover, ensuring quality standards and customer requirements are met.\nImplement project quality requirements and critical control points and develop, maintain, and coordinate project-specific Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), quality controls, and verification activities in alignment with the Project Quality Plan, customer requirements, and project risks.\nSupport coordination of development and implementation of inspection, verification, testing, and acceptance activities with Factory Quality, Supplier Quality, Site Quality, contractors, integrators, Engineering, Operations, and Commissioning teams.\nSupport or coordinate collection, verification, and maintenance of project quality information, quality records, objective evidence, and documentation, ensuring availability for project stakeholders and customers.\nSupport or coordinate Lessons Learned initiatives during and after finished projects.\nSupport communication with the customers, factories, project management team and construction site team to proactively see installations and document improvement needs and understand the nature of the issue and initiate related corrective action. \nSupport investigation and resolution of project quality issues and participate in RCA, 8D, corrective action, and customer issue-resolution activities led by the responsible quality organization.\nWork with internal teams, including Engineering, Service, Manufacturing/Operations, Sales, Offering Management, and Supplier Quality to resolve quality issues impacting customers. Develop 8D and Customer reports on reported issues. \nAdheres to health & safety company regulations.\nTraining/mentoring of personnel.\nPerform daily tasks aligned to Vertiv Strategic Priorities highlighting an ongoing commitment to continuous improvement (VOS)\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree preferred in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or relevant field \nAt least 3 years of professional engineering quality related experience\nDriving license mandatory\nHands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and testing methodologies\nAdditional certification in Quality Assurance is a plus\nPreferred bi-lingual (minimum intermediate level of English language required)\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal and interpersonal skills\nExcellent organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills\nComputer skills\nAbility to interact effectively with all levels of personnel from different departments/disciplines, including the ability to build effective working relationships \nLean Six Sigma (DAMIC) experience a plus\nKnowledge in quality planning, electrical and mechanical inspection and testing, supplier quality, production quality, construction quality and understanding of project quality and customer requirements\nTeam spirit\nAnalytical approach\nProblem solving capability\nCustomer focused - Attitude to listen to customers' (internal and external) needs\nExcellent attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately in a busy and demanding environment\nTime Travel Needed:\nUp to 25% in EMEA region\nWho are we?\nAt Vertiv, we’re on a mission to empower the people that will power the future.
