This is a permanently on-site role requiring hands-on leadership across all Vertiv product & service offerings. The Site Manager ensures works are delivered safely, on time, to high quality standard, while maintaining strong coordination with the broader internal project delivery team, the General Contractor and any associated subcontractors and stakeholders onsite.\n\nMajor activities to be performed:\nLead daily pre-start and toolbox talks with Vertiv customer engineers and subcontractor \nEnsure compliance with GC site access, induction & EHS requirements\nPlan, coordinate and supervise Vertiv equipment delivery to site, interfacing with GC and other site trades\nComplete all delivery condition reports, inclusive of photos and customer acceptance of deliveries\nRepresent Vertiv at all required site project meetings\nManage relationships with site personnel (builders, contractors, engineers and installers)\nCoordinate & supervise Vertiv employee and contractor site activities such as installation, commissioning/testing, access & energisation permits\nComplete project site reporting and documentation requirements (tracking sheets, delivery check lists, progress reports)\nOversee defect rectification and close out\nDrive team to achieve daily targets and motivate to \nPromote good morale and team work\nWHS, Environment & Quality:\n- Comply with all Work, Health & Safety, Environment and Quality obligations\n- Actively promote safety in the workplace with Vertiv staff and subcontractors\n- Review SWEMS and ensure fit for purpose for tasks being undertaken\n- Actively engage with Vertiv Project EHS manager\n\nEmployees reporting to Incumbent\nN/A\n\nMain contacts within Company\n\nNational Project & Delivery Manager\nProject Managers\nJunior Project Managers\nCommissioning Managers\nCustomer Engineers\nProject EHS Manager\nVertiv customers\nSub-contractors \nSuppliers\nGeneral Contractor and their subcontractors\n\nMain contacts outside the Company\n\nVertiv customers\nSub-contractors \nSuppliers\nGeneral Contractor and their subcontractors\n\nEducation/Qualification:\n\nCompletion of trade - electrical or mechanical preferred\nCert IV in Building & Construction or Diploma equivalent\nWhite/general construction card\nLVR/CPR certified\n\n Specialist Knowledge:\n\nStrong computer skills - MS Office;
