Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, this position oversees approximately 10 QC Technicians performing mechanical, incoming, electrical and thermal inspections. The QC Supervisor ensures inspection activities are carried out consistently, efficiently, and in compliance with Quality standards and specifications.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nSupervise, coordinate, and schedule the daily activities of the QC inspection team \nOversee mechanical, incoming, electrical and thermal inspection activities across production and fabrication lines\nReview and approve inspection records, ensuring accuracy and completeness of Quality documentation\nMonitor team performance, provide coaching, and conduct performance evaluations\nIdentify training needs and ensure QC Technicians are competent in inspection methods, tools, and standards\nEscalate Quality defects, non-conformances, and trends to the Quality Manager with supporting data\nEnsure calibration schedules for testing and measurement equipment are maintained\nDrive standardisation of inspection processes and work instructions across all inspection types\nSupport root cause analysis and corrective action activities (e.g., 8D)\nCollaborate with production, engineering, and project teams to resolve quality issues on the floor\nTrack and report key QC metrics (e.g., inspection pass rates, non-conformance trends, turnaround times)\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to Quality objectives\nOther responsibilities may be assigned from time to time as needed\nQUALIFICATIONS\nMinimum Job Qualifications:\n5+ years of experience in a Quality Control role within a manufacturing environment\n2+ years of experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity\nEnglish 90%\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications\nExperience with electrical and thermal testing and inspection methods\nStrong knowledge of quality control methodologies and inspection techniques\nExperience with incoming inspection processes and supplier quality coordination\nFamiliarity with Switchgear, UPS, CRAC units, STS, or busbar systems\nExperience with Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001)\nProficiency in data analysis and QC reporting\nStrong leadership, communication, and organisational skills\nPositive mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach\nAbility to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment\nComputer skills including email, collaboration tools, Excel, Word, and file
