With $6.9 billion in sales, a strong customer base and global reach spanning nearly 70 countries, we are uniquely positioned to deliver greater value to our customers and create new opportunities for our people.\nWe are currently seeking a Quality Engineer - to join our dynamic team in Bologna, Italy!\nAbout the role:\nThe quality Engineer will assist in driving manufacturing process quality improvements and providing direction and support for implementation and continued use of tools and methods utilized in the improvement of process and product reliability.\nWhat you will be doing -\nCoordinate and support multiple quality improvement projects across various departmental areas, driving short term and long term, sustainable corrective actions to address product and process issues.\nInvestigate reported Quality Issues. \nDevelop 8D and Customer reports on reported issues. \nCommunicate internally and externally on outcomes of investigations.\nTrack shipments of new products, Pareto and report issues and assist in assigning ownership to the problems. \nSupport product transfer process and assist with product audit feedback and early field issue reporting.\nPresent status updates on various quality initiatives to business management.\nExecute Quality Engineering responsibilities on new product releases, including tracking issues, and ensuring effective resolution.\nEnsure PFMEAs, control plans, and risk management plans are in place for new products.\nParticipate in cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions through problem solving process. \nEvaluate completed corrective actions and ensure effectiveness of actions.\nOther Duties as assigned\nWhat will make you successful -\nTertiary qualification in an engineering field\n1 - 3 years’ experience within the actual role\nGood knowledge of quality tools, 8D reports, Six Sigma\nQuality reporting\nIf YOU are the person we are looking for, feel free to apply and let's start drafting your future career in a healthy and growing environment!\nThe successful candidate will embrace Vertiv’s Core Principals & Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.\nOUR CORE PRINCIPALS: Safety.
