As an R&D Engineering Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the R&D team development efforts of our offerings in the industry. Your primary role will be supporting the R&D team with technical documentation, product data management, and administrative tasks to ensure efficient workflow and accurate product information management.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nManage IFS (BOM) system and maintain product structures.\nCreate and maintain part numbers following company nomenclature.\nSupport IFS part creation for intra-company purchase orders.\nSupport mechanical design engineers with documentation.\nMaintain product data management systems.\nAssist with technical documentation organization.\nAssist with 3D and 2D CAD.\nAssist with shipping and coordination between sites.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, purchasing, and manufacturing, to support product development plans.\nAlign with the culture of innovation within the product development team, that encourages creative thinking and idea\ngeneration.\nWork closely with external suppliers and partners to source components and materials.\nAdherence to the department's NPDI process and completion of relevant documentation.\nSupport the documentation for Engineering change process for existing and new products.\nDemonstrate Ethics and Integrity.\nOther duties and responsibilities as assigned.\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\nAssociate’s degree in engineering, Technical Management, (or related field) or Relevant experience.\n2+ years’ experience in engineering support or similar role.\nExperience with BOM management and product structures with ERP or other product data management systems.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nExcellent documentation skills.\nHighly detail-oriented mindset.\nStrong organization skills, and ability to work & multitask in a fast-paced environment.\nExcellent written & verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree in engineering (or related field), or Relevant engineering experience.\nProficiency in IFS.\nExperience working in SolidWorks.\nExperience with technical documentation.\nFamiliarity with engineering drawings and specifications.\nKnowledge of busbar products
