Your voice matters, your growth is prioritized, and your success is celebrated.\nSUMMARY:\nIn this role, you will manage complex, high-value B2B customer portfolios, serve as an escalation point for unresolved disputes, and provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members.\nYou will work cross-functionally with Billing, Credit, Pricing, Logistics, and senior leadership to drive collections performance, reduce DSO, and lead process improvement initiatives. You are expected to bring strategic thinking, strong stakeholder management skills, and a continuous improvement mindset to the role. This position requires a night-shift schedule aligned with US business hours.\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:\nLead collections efforts on high-value and complex B2B customer portfolios.\nContact customers via calls and emails; send invoices and request payment on past due accounts.\nManage collection of past due invoices and invalid deductions on allocated customer portfolios.\nAct as the primary escalation point for unresolved disputes and non-cooperative accounts.\nResearch and analyze complex disputes and deductions in ERP system (Oracle).\nMonitor customer accounts for non-payments, delayed payments, and payment irregularities.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams (Billing, Pricing, Logistics, Credit) for issue resolution.\nMentor and guide junior collections analysts on process, tools, and best practices.\nDrive collections strategy and implement best practices to reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).\nConduct effective internal and external stakeholder meetings to resolve account issues.\nProvide quality feedback and coaching on call quality and process adherence.\nArrange and follow up on payment plans to bring delinquent accounts current.\nProcess credit card payments; ensure correct application of cash receipts.\nMaintain call logs and document expected payment dates in the billing/collections system.\nPrepare and present Accounts Receivable reports and cash collection forecasts to management.\nPerform routine account reconciliations; reduce account aging across the portfolio.\nReview orders on hold for customers within your assigned portfolio.\nFollow up with internal departments for supporting documents for dispute/deduction resolution.\nGenerate daily reporting of individual portfolios to track and monitor past dues.\nIdentify and address performance gaps and developmental opportunities within the team.\nLead continuous improvement initiatives and recommend AR automation solutions.\nSupport month-end close activities related to Accounts Receivable.\nHandle audit requests, control differences, and provide critical guidance to stakeholders.\nActively pursue initiatives that aid team members in achieving individual and team KPIs.\nJOB QUALIFICATIONS:\nGraduate.\n4-5 years of experience within a business-to-business collection domain.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills in English.\nProficiency in MS Office applications (Advanced Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).\nHands-on experience with ERP systems (Oracle Collections module).\nProven experience in collection, dispute management and collaboration with cross-functional teams.\nGood customer-handling and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility and willingness to work night shifts aligned to US business hours.\nExpertise in B2B Collections Operations and deep understanding of the complete Order-to-Cash cycle.\nExperience working on HighRadius Collections module is desirable.\nProven experience with LEAN or Six Sigma process improvement methodologies.\nStrong analytical skills - ability to interpret data and drive measurable actions.\nAccount management and portfolio planning experience.\nProblem-solving ability with strong attention to detail.\nStrong presentation and influencing skills; ability to engage senior stakeholders.\nAbility to manage through multiple systems and competing priorities.\nAbility to collaborate and negotiate with multiple stakeholders to resolve issues.\nStrong orientation towards process improvement and AR automation.\nAbility to balance priorities across multiple internal and external teams.\nExperience in mentoring and coaching team members.\nEnergy and appetite for driving performance, productivity, and growth.\nThe successful candidate will embrace Vertiv’s Core Principals & Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.\nOUR CORE PRINCIPALS: Safety.
