This role involves technical leadership, cross-functional coordination, and end-to-end ownership of electrical, controls, and integration activities throughout the product lifecycle-from concept to commissioning.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the design and development of electrical and electronic systems for HVAC machines, including screw chillers and thermal products.\nPrepare, review, and approve electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, interlock logic, and BOMs.\nSelect and integrate electrical and electronic components such as VFDs, controllers, PLCs, HMIs, sensors, protection devices, and safety components.\nLead and support PLC and HMI programming activities, including control logic review, I/O allocation, tag mapping, alarm handling, and parameter optimization.\nDrive BMS integration (BACnet / Modbus or equivalent), including points list definition, signal mapping, validation, and coordination with site/BMS teams.\nSupport control philosophy development and close integration of electrical systems with controls and embedded software.\nDrive design validation testing (DVT), dry testing, performance testing, and troubleshooting in lab and factory environments.\nLead root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for electrical and controls-related issues identified during testing or field operation.\nSupport commissioning, field issues, and service escalations related to electrical, controls, and automation systems.\nCoordinate with Mechanical, Software, Product Management, QA, Sourcing, and Service teams to ensure successful product execution.\nEnsure compliance with applicable electrical standards, safety norms, cybersecurity guidelines (where applicable), and regulatory requirements.\nSupport component localization, alternate sourcing, and cost optimization initiatives without compromising performance or reliability.\nProvide technical guidance, reviews, and mentoring to junior engineers and team members.\nRequired Skills & Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering (or equivalent).\n4 to 6 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in HVAC, industrial machinery, or automation systems.\nStrong machine-level experience with HVAC systems, particularly screw chiller machines and thermal products.\nDeep knowledge of industrial electrical systems, power distribution, control panels, safety circuits, and VFD applications.\nSolid working experience with PLC and HMI programming in industrial or HVAC applications.\nProven exposure to BMS integration using standard industrial protocols such as BACnet and Modbus.\n Working knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, Structured Text (ST), and Function Block Diagram (FBD);
