The primary focus will be developing and maintaining applications for battery monitoring systems based on industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, CAN, and Ethernet-based industrial stacks.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign and develop user-space applications on Embedded Linux platforms and RTOS as well baremetal embedded systems based on microcontrollers for Energy storage system.\nNew Board bring-up and hardware validation.\nImplement and maintain industrial communication protocols like Modbus RTU/TCP, CAN (user-space via Socket CAN), Ethernet-based protocols.\nDevelop multithreaded, event driven applications.\nDebug communication issues using Wireshark, CAN analyzers, and protocol.\nWrite clean and Maintainable code conforming to company standard.\nDebug communication issues using Wireshark, CAN analyzers, and protocol tools.\nEmbedded firmware development on RTOS as well baremetal embedded systems based on microcontrollers, implementation of driver layers, custom protocols, state machine based application software and bootloader development for subsystem firmware updates.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, debug, and test product features.\nProvide comprehensive design, unit test, and integration test documentation artifacts.\nDrive continuous improvement in firmware development processes and methodologies.\nParticipate in code reviews and technical discussions.\nQualification Requirements\nMinimum Job Qualifications\nStrong experience with Embedded Linux (User Space Development).\nStrong in C (mandatory)\nHands-on experience with ARM Cortex-A / MPU-based systems.\nMulti-threading, IPC, shared memory.\nSocket programming (TCP/UDP)\nGood understanding of Industrial Communication protocols like Modbus, CAN.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with software design principles, including functional design of software components and libraries, object-oriented concepts, and Agile methods.\nGeneral understanding of computer security vulnerabilities and protection techniques.\nWell-developed cultural and communications skills.\nKnowledge of source code version control tools like Git.\nExperience working with and building Yocto for embedded devices.\nExperience with TI microprocessors and microcontrollers.\nEducation and Certifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electronica Engineering or equivalent work experience.
