He/She will be mainly focused on the Chiller products.\nResponsibilities & Role Requirements:\nTo manage the development of new R&D chiller product in the data center cooling sector for high profile and well-known global datacenter customers. \nDeliver a fast and customer focused response on “engineered to order” (ETO) projects, where a new solution is based on an existing and well proven platform.\nWork in a multi-disciplinary engineering team on global products focusing on high-performance, cost-effective design and market leading innovation.\nTo lead the design of new products or re-engineer existing ones, collaborating with Marketing, Procurement and Industrial Engineering, being aware of the customers’ needs.\nAutonomous component selections, thermodynamic design and technical file arrangement for chiller products.\nTo approve and review product documentation (CAD drawings, specifications, bills of material).\nTo meet objectives of cost, quality, environment and time of execution, achieving the best trade-off between market and internal customer needs.\nTo analyze and resolve technical problems as regards products under his/her responsibility.\nAvailability to travel on request overseas.\nA good level of experience in the Chiller/HVAC sector with particularly good knowledge of Thermodynamics and refrigeration.\nQualifications & Experience\nA minimum of a master’s in mechanical engineering is required. \nAt least 5-7 years of previous working experience on similar projects, ideally in the HVAC/chiller sector.\nGood knowledge of thermodynamics and refrigeration principles are essential.\nEnglish -
