The role will ensure that products, components, and systems meet defined reliability, durability, performance, and quality requirements through structured testing, data analysis, failure investigation, and continuous improvement.\nThe role will work closely with Product Design, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams to plan and execute reliability tests, identify failure modes, determine root causes, and recommend design or process improvements.\nKey ResponsibilitiesPlan, coordinate, and execute reliability, durability, life-cycle, and qualification testing in the Reliability Lab.\nDevelop test plans, test procedures, test setups, and test schedules based on product and customer requirements.\nOperate and ensure proper utilization of reliability laboratory equipment, test rigs, instrumentation, and data-acquisition systems.\nConduct reliability testing under thermal, mechanical, electrical, environmental, and other relevant stress conditions.\nMonitor tests, capture test data, identify abnormalities, and ensure timely escalation of test failures.\nPerform detailed analysis of test failures and support Root Cause Analysis (RCA), FMEA, 8D, and corrective actions.\nWork with Design Engineering to investigate failures and recommend design improvements to enhance product reliability.\nEnsure proper documentation of test results, observations, failures, corrective actions, and final conclusions.\nPrepare test reports, reliability reports, qualification reports, and technical presentations for engineering and leadership teams.\nSupport new product development by providing reliability inputs during design verification and validation (DV/PV) activities.\nSupport qualification and validation of design changes, components, materials, and suppliers.\nEnsure calibration and preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment and test infrastructure.\nMaintain laboratory standards, safety requirements, testing protocols, and documentation.\nCoordinate with external laboratories and testing agencies whenever specialized testing is required.\nAnalyze reliability data and identify trends, recurring failures, and opportunities for improvement.\nSupport development and improvement of reliability test methodologies and laboratory capabilities.\nMentor junior engineers/technicians on reliability testing, instrumentation, data analysis, and troubleshooting.\nKey Technical SkillsStrong knowledge of Reliability Engineering and Reliability Testing.\nHands-on experience with reliability and environmental testing.\nKnowledge of FMEA, FTA, RCA, 8D, Weibull analysis, life testing, and accelerated life testing.\nUnderstanding of thermal, mechanical, electrical, and environmental stress testing.\nExperience with data acquisition systems, sensors, instrumentation, and test equipment.\nAbility to troubleshoot test setups and identify test-system vs. product failures.\nStrong data analysis and interpretation skills.\nKnowledge of relevant industry/testing standards and engineering practices.\nGood understanding of product design and manufacturing processes.\nStrong technical documentation and reporting skills.\nEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related Engineering discipline.\nTypically 5-8 years of relevant experience in Reliability Engineering, Product Validation, Testing, or Engineering Laboratory functions.\nHands-on experience working in a Reliability/Test/Validation Lab is preferred.\nExperience in HVAC, thermal management, cooling systems, data-center equipment, power electronics, or similar engineered products will be an advantage.\nKey CompetenciesReliability &
