Responsibilities\nSupport New Product Development (NPD), VAVE, and product improvement projects.\nDevelop concept designs, detailed mechanical designs, and engineering solutions for sheet metal components and assemblies.\nCreate and maintain 3D models, assemblies, engineering drawings, and documentation using SOLIDWORKS.\nGenerate and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and associated product structures.\nExecute engineering change orders (ECOs) and support change management processes.\nPrepare complete design packages, including 3D models, assemblies, drawings, and BOMs.\nCollaborate with global engineering teams to deliver project objectives on time and within quality requirements.\nWork independently with minimal supervision while managing assigned project deliverables.\nEnsure compliance with engineering standards, quality requirements, and organizational project management processes.\nParticipate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement activities.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.\n5+ years of experience using SOLIDWORKS in a sheet metal design environment.\nStrong experience in 3D modeling, detailing, and drawing creation using SOLIDWORKS.\nExperience generating and managing Bills of Materials (BOMs).\nUnderstanding of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and change management processes.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills in English.\nSelf-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.\nAbility to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems such as Agile PLM or Oracle PD Cloud.\nKnowledge of sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing processes.\nExperience designing telecom, data center, electrical, or industrial enclosures.\nExperience managing large and complex CAD assemblies in SOLIDWORKS.\nExperience with External Simplified Representation and large assembly performance optimization techniques.\nExposure to global engineering or cross-functional product development
