Manages engineering model design in Revit and prepares standard control documentation such as plans, sections, elevation views, I/O lists, riser diagrams, sequence of operations, equipment technical specifications, and material requirements. ·\n The scope of work for this position includes:Leading BMS documentation set\nEquipment and material specifications\nCreating \"for construction\" documentation\nBMS equipment setup (field equipment, network switches and PLCs, servers and operator workstation)\nCreating As-built documentation\nSupport during FAT\nSupport during on-site commissioning\nDesign/validation of fire alarm system documentation set\nDesign/validation of security system documentation set · \n\nDesign of BMS systems for modular buildings (small/medium scale) according to input data, material and equipment specifications, and creation of construction documentation for Global AND/OR India region.\nSupporting internal testing and FAT in factory and/or SAT based on site location\nSupporting commissioning team on-site during commissioning process (Global and/or India Region). \nDefining fire alarm system design requirements and reviews from Sr.Engineer \nDefining security system design requirements and reviews from Sr.Engineer\nEngineer with Data Center Projects experience/background or similar Critical Infrastructure experience preferred.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nCreation of conceptual and detailed project solution \nCreation of electrical engineering project documentation based on input data (information, requirements, standards): riser and network diagrams, I/O lists, application and functional diagrams, sequence of operations, fire alarm system project drawings, security systems drawings and descriptions, instructions, material submissions, presentations and marketing materials, etc. \nDuring design, must follow and consider international, national, and company standards and good engineering practices · Using knowledge and experience to fulfill requirements set by project tasks \nLeading design control and mentoring other colleagues \nParticipating in kick-off meeting, regular team meetings, and site coordination meetings\n Reporting project status to chief project engineer and project manager \nProactive cooperation with all team members during project execution \nControl and support of BMS, fire alarm, and security systems integrators \nCommunicates with stakeholders in North America, India, EMEA or Australia based on project & time overlap.\nInitiating Request for Information (RFI) when additional clarification is needed \nCreating defined documents according to document list (DLIST) \nCommunicates with stakeholders in North America, India, EMEA or Australia based on project & time overlap.\nChecking and approving hall documentation created by subcontractors\nDetermining material and service descriptions needed for project execution \nSpecifying required certificates for materials to be ordered \nSupporting suppliers with additional information during bid phase (bid submission) \nProviding technical approval for received supplier bids \nProviding technical support to subcontractors and installers during production/assembly \nCollaboration with production team and on-site implementation team \nCollaboration with site manager during assembly, providing technical solutions for raised questions \nCollaboration with Quality Control during component/system quality control and site assembly \nCollaboration with commissioning engineer on test documentation creation\nLeading role in internal testing and support during FAT \nCreating installation and maintenance documentation \nIn factory, on-site and/or remote commissioning and implementation of BMS\nAUTHORITIES:\nReview and approval of project documentation for BMS, fire alarm, and security documentation \nApproving/rejecting technically received supplier bids \nApproving/rejecting proposed changes by subcontractors on approved workshop documentation\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEducation: B.E/Btech in Electrical/Instrumentation engineer (Automation) [OR Diploma with +3 years of experience] OR ME/Mtech\n9+ years of experience \nActive knowledge of English language (oral and written), Hindi (preferred)\n Software - Revit, AutoCAD, ICT, Security Systems, SQL, PLC/DDC software package, SCADA software package, \n Technical skills - Programming, SCADA, PLC, DDC, Modbus/SNMP/BACnet protocols, ethernet networks, & NFPA , IS & NBC standard awareness.\nOther skills - independence, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, organization, creativity, teamwork, management and coordination of other projects assigned to control engineers\nPHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS\nNo special physical requirements\n\nTIME TRAVEL REQUIRED\n20%\n\nThe successful candidate will embrace Vertiv’s Core Principals & Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.\nOUR CORE PRINCIPALS: Safety.
