Able to digest customer requirements, communicate to Pre-Sales design team, Bid Management team and Senior Management necessary details to formulate formal proposals and solution offerings.\nResponsibilities:\nReport to Infrastructure Solutions Line of Business. \nAdvise customers on Vertiv solution products. \nSolve customer business needs leveraging Vertiv portfolio. \nRead and understanding RFP tender documents. \nCoordination with engineering and technical disciplines (HVAC, electrical, controls, fire protection)\nTechnical project coordination with customers and suppliers \nCollaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, Deployment, Start-up and Commissioning teams. \nProficient in reading customer specifications, such as MasterSpec format, and able to apply specifications to data center design. \nProblem solving and interpretation of customer requirements in proposed solutions \nRegional responsibility but required to coordinate globally with counterparts in other regions. \nRequirements:\nBachelor's Degree or equivalent degree in Engineering \n5+ years' experience in related role \nProficient in Data Center design and the impact of each technical discipline civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection and BMS \nUnderstanding of relevant architectural and structural codes and standards. \nKnowledgeable of AIA project phases for design, construction and commissioning. \nBasic drafting and sketch capabilities (Revit experience preferred). \nSolution-based thinking that will incorporate a multitude of Mechanical and Electrical components to an end-customer deployment \nExcellent Communication Skills, both written and oral. \nExcellent Organizational Skills & Time Management \nAbility to multi-task \nSelf Motivated \nPC skills: Office 365 cross-functional platform Teams, SharePoint \n10-25% Travel for customer engagements, conferences, and
