By embedding safety, quality, and efficiency into training, you will directly contribute to our culture of excellence and continuous improvement.\nKey responsibilities:\nDeliver practical, hands-on training across the full range of Busbar machinery and processes, ensuring safe and effective operation. \nDevelop, implement and maintain structured training plans aligned to the Busbar Training Matrix. \nAssess operator competency and support progression through the L1-L9 grading structure. \nIdentify skills gaps and deliver targeted development plans to build a highly skilled, multi-disciplined workforce. \nCoach, mentor and support operators to develop confidence, capability and independence. \nDeliver training on safe working practices, quality standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). \nMaintain accurate training records and regularly update the Busbar Training Matrix. \nSupport new starter inductions and onboarding within the Busbar area. \nCarry out routine inspection, maintenance, sharpening and regrinding of machine dies and tooling. \nMonitor tooling condition, maintain preventative maintenance schedules and coordinate tooling replacements as required. \nTroubleshoot tooling-related production issues and implement effective corrective actions. \nSupport continuous improvement initiatives, including DMAIC, 5S and Gemba activities, while identifying opportunities to improve machine utilisation, quality and operator capability. \nPlease note the above duties and responsibilities are not intended to be an exhaustive list. To achieve business objectives, other duties may be included at the discretion of the line manager.\nEssential Skills, Qualifications/Experience:\nFully competent in the operation of Busbar machinery and processes.\nDemonstrated competency across Busbar operations.\nExperience in the maintenance, inspection, and regrinding of machine dies and tooling.\nAbility to coach, instruct, and assess others in a workshop environment.\nStrong understanding of safe working practices within a manufacturing environment.\nClear and effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical processes to colleagues of all skill levels.\nDesirable Skills, Qualifications/Experience:\nPrevious experience in a formal training or mentoring role.\nKnowledge of 5S methodology and lean
