The Government Business Analyst ensures pricing integrity, compliance alignment, and accurate reporting while supporting scalable, audit-ready operations.\nThis position is ideal for professionals with experience in government contracting who are ready to independently manage defined workflows, systems, and contract requirements.\nRequirements\nWhat You’ll Do\nManage end-to-end onboarding of assigned Vendors and Customers including external communications and internal system setup \nValidate pricing data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contract requirements and manage pricing within internal systems to ensure accurate and timely quotes \nPrepare, validate, and support monthly contract reporting activities \nCoordinate registration and access to external portals and platforms and maintain a centralized repository of all active accounts. \nMaintain alignment between contract requirements and operational systems (CRM, ERP, and vendor portals) \nIdentify and mitigate compliance risks; escalate issues as needed \nMaintain organized, audit-ready documentation and support internal reviews \nRecommend and contribute to operational and system improvements \nPartner cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, and Contracts to ensure data and process alignment \nOther duties as assigned \nHow Success Is Measured\nEfficient and responsive communication focused on positive stakeholder experience \nAccurate and complete system set up for all parties \nAccuracy and integrity of pricing across assigned contract vehicles \nOn time and compliant contract reporting \nReduction in pricing discrepancies and reporting errors \nEffectiveness in identifying and mitigating compliance risks \nContributions to operational efficiency and process improvements \nStrength of cross-functional collaboration \nWhat We’re Looking For\n Required Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Public Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) \n2-5 years of experience in government contracting, pricing analysis, or compliance-focused operations \nStrong analytical skills with experience validating and reconciling data \nAbility to interpret contract terms and pricing structures \nHigh attention to detail and organizational discipline \nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel preferred) \n Preferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting government contract vehicles (e.g., GSA, SEWP, SLED, cooperative purchasing agreements) \nExperience preparing or validating contract reporting \nFamiliarity with compliance audits or audit readiness practices \nExperience contributing to process improvements or systems enhancements \nCompensation & Benefits\n Compensation Range based on total On-Target Earnings (OTE)): $80,000 - $120,000. \nTotal on-target earnings (OTE) include base salary plus target bonus and/or commission, as applicable to the position. \nCompetitive base salary (commensurate with experience) \nComprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision \n401(k) with company match \nPaid Time Off (PTO) and all Federal holidays \nHybrid work schedule (Leesburg, VA) \nCareer development and growth opportunities \nAbout Vertosoft\nVertosoft is a small business focused on accelerating the adoption of technology in Government.
