What we want: We are looking for a Power BI Developer with 1-2 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports that help stakeholders make data-driven decisions. For more details, please visit our website here. What you will do:
  • Design, develop, and publish interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Write and optimize DAX queries and calculated measures/columns.
  • Connect Power BI to various data sources (SQL Server, Excel, APIs, cloud databases, etc.).
  • Perform data modeling, including creating relationships, hierarchies, and star schemas.
  • Use Power Query (M language) for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
  • Collaborate with business teams to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance optimization of reports/dashboards.
  • Schedule and manage data refreshes using Power BI Service/Gateway.
  • Implement row-level security (RLS) where required.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data connectivity, report performance, and visualizations.
  • Experience with Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Pivot).
  • Exposure to Python/R for data analysis.
  • Understanding of Power Automate/Power Apps.
  • Microsoft Power BI Certification (PL-300) is a plus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience with Power BI (Desktop & Service).
  • Strong knowledge of DAX and Power Query (M language).
  • Good understanding of SQL and relational databases.
  • Basic understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with data visualization best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills to interact with business stakeholders.
