Reads, interprets and follows blueprints, sketches, and product/engineering specifications.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nGrind, file, sand and polish metal surfaces to a specified shape and smoothness using hand tools.\nRemove metal burrs and smooth out contoured surfaces with power tools.\nVerify dimensions and radius, using micrometers, dial indicators and calipers.\nInspect and measure parts.\nEnsure organized and clean work areas.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nPosition Requirements\n1-3 years prior experience deburring metal components within the Aerospace industry is desired.\nMust have a high school diploma or equivalent.\nAbility to read and understand drawings, schematics, blue prints, work instructions and use standard machine shop tools.\nExperience working in an environment of continuous process improvement and track record of developing and implementing process improvements. AS9100 experience desired.\nGood interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others.\nExcellent communication skills, both oral and written.
