Learn more at verve.com.\n\nThis is a hybrid role requiring three days a week in our Frankfurt office.\nWhat Will You Do\nSupport the end-to-end processes of accounts payable and/or accounts receivable accounting\nProvide accurate data for weekly cash flow forecasting and payment proposals for assigned entities\nAssist the team with maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts\nAct as the primary point of contact for incoming accounting-related mail and emails; handle inquiries independently or forward them to the appropriate person when necessary\nReview, verify, and post incoming invoices, including managing associated workflows and administrative tasks\nSupport day-to-day accounting operations\nClarify and reconcile accounts payable and inter company accounts\nPrepare payments and assist with payment runs\nContribute to the creation of statistics, reports, and ad-hoc analyses\nAssist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes in accordance with HGB/IFRS standards\nSupport the optimization of existing accounting and administrative processes\nWhat Will You Bring\nSuccessfully completed vocational training in a commercial or business-related field\nAt least 4-5 years of professional experience in accounting, e.g. in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general ledger accounting, or a combination of these areas\nNative-level or excellent business-level German and negotiation-ready English skills are required\nProfessional experience with HGB (German GAAP) or IFRS\nStrong aptitude for numbers and a solid understanding of fundamental legal and regulatory accounting requirements\nExperience with ERP systems is required; knowledge of Oracle NetSuite is an advantage\nProficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word\nStructured, reliable, and independent working style with a keen eye for detail\nHands-on mentality, team orientation, and a willingness to take on
