Through broader and more technically challenging work assignments, the auditor will develop a thorough understanding of policies, methods, and procedures.\nWhat You Will Do:\nReview management system manuals and associated documentation for compliance with requirements and applicable codes and/or standards.\nPlan, schedule and conduct initial, surveillance and re-certification audits.\nPrepare and maintain audit logs and all other required documentation.\nPrepare and issue reports and recommendations for certification.\nLead introductory and closing meetings at client’s facilities.\nMaintain audit independence without involvement in business development activities.\nAdditional program-specific roles and responsibilities defined in each program procedure.\nWhat You Will Need:\nEducation and Experience:\nProfessional education or training equivalent to university level and a minimum of three (3) years of experience related to Management Systems.\nCompleted and approved on Lead Auditor Course according to ISO9001 and/or ISO45001 and/or ISO14001\nCompleted EMS and H&S Legislation training courses (for ISO14001 and ISO45001 qualification) - minimum duration 24 hours for each one\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nThe ability to identify, analyze and propose solutions to problems.\nAbility to communicate orally and in writing.\nAbility to work well with others.\nAbility to obtain a working knowledge of the ABS Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management Systems.\nIt Would Be Nice If You Had:\nFormer experience in second- or third-party audits on behalf of a Certification Body.\nReporting Relationships:\nThe incumbent will report to the Technical Manager.
