If you have a desire to make a difference with DOT’s safety mission, care about adding value to clients, and thrive in complex environments, this is a great place to continue your career.\nWhat You Will Do:\nDevelop relationships with clients at various levels in the government to ensure successful project delivery on multiple contracts.\n\nIdentify requirements, coordinate resources, and communicate decisions to appropriate personnel, both internal to the team and our clients.\n\nDevelop budgets, schedules, and profit objectives for assigned projects, within the requirements of contracts and subject to the approval of Regional Management.\n\nTake the lead in negotiating budgets, schedules, project terms, and conditions on specific proposal opportunities.\n\nWork with Regional Management to establish staffing requirements in support of project execution.\n\nInitiate project setup to initiate and maintain project management files for assigned projects.\n\nIn charge of various tasks necessary to execute project requirements.\n\nProvide direction and oversight to various employees that are assigned to projects.\n\nAssure projects are executed within approve the d budget and schedule and in accordance with company Quality requirements.\n\nAct as the primary point of contact for clients on assigned projects.\n\nParticipate in marketing the company’s services to client contacts and to new clients as assigned by Regional Management.\n\nAssist Regional Management in the evaluation of employee performance, and in identifying employee training and development needs.\n\nAssist in training and mentoring of project employees.\n\nAssure that invoices are properly prepared in accordance with contractual terms and are issued to clients in a timely manner.\n\nWork with Financial Services Group to ensure that payment on outstanding invoices is forthcoming in a timely manner.\n\nPrepare and submit time charge records, expense reports, invoice approvals, and collections status notices in a timely manner in accordance with company procedures.\n\nWhat You Will Need:\nEducation and Experience\nBachelor of Science degree.\n10+ years of related experience preferred.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nAbility to appropriately interact with clients of all levels, including executives, in writing and in-person interactions at DOT Headquarters.\n\nAbility to manage complex relationships between multiple stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for the clients and support staff.\n\nAbility to support, manage, and contribute to multiple projects, deliverables, and deadlines simultaneously.\n\nAbility to speak and write English fluently.\n\nAbility to organize, plan, monitor, and control project contractual requirements, budgets, schedules, and technical work.\n\nAbility to utilize basic personal computer applications, including spreadsheets, word processors, email, and internet browsers.\n\nAbility to communicate technical aspects of projects and of work assignments to peers, subordinates, and clients.\n\nAbility to direct the execution of complex projects.\n\nAbility to obtain a working knowledge of the ABS Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management Systems.\n\nReporting Relationships:\nReports directly to Group Manager or Regional Manager for administrative matters. May have individual contributor direct reports.\nWorking Conditions:\nWork is primarily sedentary; exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, although some work is performed in the field.
